What Younivi is

Younivi is the company hub for eleven publications. Each lives on its own host and covers a focused question, from policy rates and national accounts to holidays, tax rates and electricity. This site helps a reader find those pages, understand the publishing method, and get in touch. YOUNIVI LIMITED is registered in Auckland, New Zealand (NZBN 9429052621109).

The work is narrow on purpose. We do not run a newsroom, a research floor, or a trading terminal. A data page shows displayed observations, their periods and source status, often with a chart, table and citation back to the file or API. Country desks reorder licensed series toward a particular reader; they do not invent a local series we have not ingested.

What “official data republished” means

Republished observations come from central banks, national statistical offices, international statistical programmes and government calendars. Calculators and clearly labelled derived estimates, such as Takehome scenarios, are different from source-published observations. Data pages identify the producer, series and licence where attribution is required. Where a source file cannot be downloaded, we do not fill the gap from memory.

Republication is not a live feed. Sites are static rebuilds: a checked source file is turned into HTML, and the public page changes only after a reviewed rebuild is deployed. There is no portfolio-wide update deadline. A source-rights or method review can keep one series at an older period while other series continue; read the period and source status on the relevant publication. A printed value can also change when the producer revises its table.

We do not interpolate missing observations, seasonal-adjust a series the producer left unadjusted, splice two agencies into one homemade history, or convert a target range into a midpoint unless the official file already contains that series. Derived figures that we do compute — for example a year-over-year change from a published index — are labelled as derived on the product that shows them.

How sources are cited

Each product keeps its own methodology and disclaimer (or sources) page. Those pages list the ingest, the identifiers, and the legal notice for that publication. This hub does not replace them. Producers across the publications include central banks, national statistical offices, Eurostat, the OECD, World Bank Open Data, ILOSTAT, Taiwan’s DGBAS for the identified GDP series, and government holiday calendars. A producer or licence can differ by country and measure. The product page names the actual file or series; this hub is not a substitute for that citation.

Who it is for

The sites are for people who want a stable, cited view of a public series: journalists checking a rate, students looking up a CPI level, residents checking a holiday calendar, or anyone who prefers a short table to a wide source spreadsheet. Publications differ in language coverage; several provide translated navigation and explanations alongside the English source context. They are not country-specific advice products.

What it is not

Younivi is not a bank, a broker, a lender, or an authorised financial-advice firm. Nothing on this hub or on the product hosts is financial advice, a recommendation to borrow, save, invest, or take any other action, or a forecast. We are not the statistical agency and not a central bank. Official institutions remain the authority for the numbers they publish. If a decision depends on a figure, go back to the source file named on the series page.
